Located just 30 minutes from Asheville and the Biltmore House and a 15 minute drive to the Asheville Airport and Sierra Nevada Brewery. Hendersonville is very family friendly with several major festivals each year. If you enjoy hiking, Brevard and DuPont State Park are also nearby. A three mile drive gets you to Flat Rock, location of the North Carolina state theater and the Carl Sandburg historic home. There are four bicycles available to ride at your own risk to downtown or on the Oklawaha Bike Trail. Numerous city parks are close by. Patton Park has a skateboarding park and public swimming pool.
