Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Our 2nd floor room had a water view and small deck. We kept the slider door open so we could hear the lapping water, passing sailboats, and seagulls. It was so relaxing and nice that we fell asleep! We walked into town to get dinner which was a nice stroll about 15-20 minutes. But there are closer eateries to the hotel as well. Back in the room, we could also see the moon rise over the mountains (it was a blood moon) and the reflection on the water was very pretty.

Negative: You definately hear your neighbors, but that is to be expected in a hotel The room next to us watched TV until late hours. And in the morning we definately woke to the sounds of heavy footsteps from above.

Summary: I've probably stayed in every hotel in Port Townsend, and this was my favorite.
