Positive: What an incredible hotel! We stayed for 3 nights and absolutely loved it. The resort is beautiful, the design is amazing, and the rooms are at a very high level. Most of the rooms feel like private villas, many with their own pool, which makes the whole experience feel very special. The food was excellent, including breakfast, and the prices were actually quite reasonable, even for full meals. The staff were lovely, welcoming, kind, and always pleasant to interact with. The location is beautiful, right next to an amazing black sand beach, and the pools are great as well. Honestly, I think that if this hotel were located somewhere more central, it would probably be one of the most popular resorts in Bali. The location is a bit remote, but for us that was not really a downside. It is actually a great base if you want to explore Tabanan and go further north. We had a beautiful day trip around the rice terraces and Jatiluwih area, and there are also some very good restaurants nearby.
Negative: The only real downside for us was that you cannot really swim in the sea there. Also, transportation is something to plan in advance, since apps like Grab and GoJek do not really work in the area. Still, we absolutely loved our stay and would definitely recommend it!
