Summary: We were excited to visit the small town of Hexham to see the sites both in town and at the nearby Roman ruins along Hadrians Wall. Victoria Tap was both the perfect central location to do that and an overall great place to stay. We thought a pub might be noisy at night but we didn’t hear a thing in our room. Even through two World Cup matches. The staff was nothing but friendly and helpful. This hotel is a great value for the cost and we would recommend a stay. The room was larger than expected and the amenities were great.
