Positive: Me and my mum recently stayed at the monkey house B+B for a two night stay at the end of August 2024 before we enjoyed a day at nearby modershall oaks spa retreat which was a lovely treat. We both felt as though we had a relaxed and pleasant experience at the B+B Chrissie and Noel were both friendly and ensured that we had everything we needed for our stay. There home has a cosy feel to it it's lovely and quiet and was very clean. We were the only guests staying at the time on our visit so had the ensuite bathroom to ourselves which was a bonus. Breakfast was lovely I missed having my usual cooked breakfast option although what was offered was really nice including a choice of cereals, yogurts, fresh fruit, and lovely bread for toast. I enjoyed sitting at the dining room table in the morning having a chat with Chrissie and Noel getting to know them they seem nice people and it was interesting seeing examples of Chrissie's lovely art work around the house and Noah's photography they are clearly talented people with a gift. We used a local taxi company which was brilliant over the two days called Star cars who were quick and reliable. We would recommend staying at the Monkey house if your staying in the area of stone or nearby and we are going to hopefully book in with them again at the end of the year as we will be doing our Christmas shopping at Queen's retail park which we discovered during our visit. Thank you Chrissie and Noel for a great stay you have a lovely house and are great hosts. Love Barb and Jan xx
Negative: My mum missed having a TV in the room this can be personal preference although Chrissie and Noel have a lovely comfortable lounge area downstairs with a T.V in if guests wanted to access it.
