Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Extremely well equipped: good crockery, pans, kitchen utensils, knives and so on, including a teapot and cafetière. Dishwasher and washing machine both very good and tablets provided for both. Great EE signal and WiFi. Wood-stove ready laid all set to use and plenty of paper, kindling and logs. DVDs, CDs, the cottage had it all. Very quiet location about 200 yards from the main big house. Very clean. Nice bedding.

Negative: The interior is a little dated, although that doesn’t bother me if everything works. The only negative was there is a bathtub rather than a shower. There was a hand shower attachment but that didn’t really work: I reported it so maybe it has been fixed. The water was hot so that wasn’t a problem.

Summary: Excellent very well-equipped and quiet cottage. Would prefer a shower rather than a bathtub.
