Positive: There is no place called the Skyline Serenity, the apartment is on the 9th floor of a building called "Meridian by Avenir" on Golam Drive. There are panoramic views over the city. It is located about 15 minutes walking distance from the two local Ayala malls, many restaurants and entertainment. The apartment is a good size, clean and provides all of the facilties you would need. I particularly liked that they provided drinking water and a water cooler, a few basic kitchen and bathroom consumables were also supplied to get you going.
Negative: Note that this is a corner apartment with floor to ceiling glass windows on two sides, without aircon it is HOT! I had to shut blinds and keep the aircon on full to maintain a bearable temperature. The washing machine is hidden in a little cupboard, you have to bend double to get in it and use the machine, this would be inconvenient if you were tall or inflexible. The gym is tired (some elements dangerous) and could do with a refurb (see photos). The pool was small and pretty grubby when I arrived. I think I was spotted taking photos, two days later the pool was cleaned but the filthy screen remained overlooked (see photos). I never used the pool as even after it was cleaned, kids were often having swimming lessons in it and it wasn't big enough to accommodate an adult also doing laps.
