Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: We stayed 2 nights half way through our 10 day trip exploring northern Iceland. Appreciated being able to do laundry (washer and dryer). This was the largest accommodation on our trip and we loved having the extra space to relax and prepare meals/eat-in. Even though this apartment is surrounded by other buildings, we were able to see the northern lights while sitting at the kitchen table. The bed was comfy, as was the couch. Well appointed kitchen. Really nice bathroom/shower. 5 minute walk to the whale watch port area (discount to one provided by host).

Negative: The key/front door access requires 2 hands and a bit of fumbling. None of our accommodations in Iceland used a keypad/door knob entry as is common in the USA. Maybe that simple concept will make its way to this beautiful country someday.
