It's crucial to respect sea turtles, as disturbing them or their nests is a federal offense. Avoid leaving beach gear or bright lights on the beach overnight, as they disorient baby turtles. Help preserve our endangered species. For recycling on the Fort Morgan Peninsula, guests must take items to the firehouse by Sassy Bass Market. The facility accepts aluminum, cardboard, and plastic; glass is not accepted.
