Positive: The apartment was spacious, comfortable and is surrounded by beautiful view of the mountains. The location was a great base for visiting the nearby attractions, and the host was friendly and welcoming throughout our stay.
Negative: The biggest issue for us was the lack sleep due to sound insulation issue. The house has original wooden floors, but they seem to carry every sound from the apartments above. Throughout our four-night stay, we were repeatedly woken up by normal activities such as people walking, using the bathroom during the night, or moving their luggage early in the morning. Unfortunately, it made it very difficult to get a good night's sleep. I mentioned the issue to the host, who was kind, understanding, and did her best to help by speaking with the other guests. However, it became clear that the problem wasn't the guests themselves but the building, as normal everyday movement could be heard very clearly. If you're a light sleeper, this is something worth considering.
Summary: Beautiful views and a great location, but not the right choice unless you're a very heavy sleeper.
