Positive: The lodge has beautiful houses perched on a cliff, surrounded by an authentic, completely non-touristy village. We arrived from Pangani by ferry, which runs approximately every five minutes, so getting there was very easy. The owners are an incredibly friendly Danish couple, and most of the staff come from the nearby village, giving the lodge a truly authentic and welcoming atmosphere. Everything was very clean, peaceful, and beautifully maintained. You can also enjoy delicious cocktails at the bar while taking in the beautiful ocean view. It is the perfect place to escape the tourist crowds and experience the real Tanzania. We would happily return!
