No surprise that the hit movie Calendar Girls was filmed here and in other locations throughout the area. An excellent base for enjoying the famous Dales, historic market towns, caves and waterfalls of this magical area, along with both Bolton Abbey and Fountains Abbey, Studley Royal, Percival Hall Gardens, and The Himalyan Garden and Sculpture Park.
