Owners main residence. We live here in the off season and camp close by during the rental season. Not a corporate owned property.
Lots of cozy personal touches and we do the cleaning ourselves, so it is always in tip top shape.

This is an absolutely lovely 2400 sf, 2 story home with 5 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms newly remodeled with terrific technology and generous amenities. Barn wood walls and beam accents along with some select antiques mixes a rustic feel with modern, updated style. Enjoy the professionally landscaped outdoors and beautiful woods on a 600 sf wrap-around deck with a great elevated view overlooking over 5 acres of mature pines, maples, oaks and birch.
Open concept first floor great room/kitchen area has a large wood burning stone fireplace with 9 ft hearth and a 65" smart TV. Plenty of comfortable seating for relaxing and dining. Two sets of French doors accessing deck with multiple windows bring nature indoors. Spacious half bath on main floor.
Brand new, fully appointed kitchen features stainless Jenn-Air appliances with granite countertops and stone backsplash. 5 burner induction cook-top on island with prep sink. Generously stocked pantry with plenty of spices.
Large and small gas grills, complete indoor/outdoor surround sound system with subwoofer. Speakers in ceiling and on the deck. Entertainment system with DirecTV, DVD and bluetooth Denon receiver.
Upstairs—Three bedrooms including Master with attached private full bath and king bed and a 42" flat screen TV. The two additional upstairs bedrooms each have queen beds and share a full bath with tub/shower. Washer/dryer available upstairs as well.
Lower level--Two bedrooms; both with queen beds and second with a twin bunk bed, full bath and a living room with 48" flat screen. All Tv's have DirecTV sports package. DVD player in both living rooms.
This beautiful, private home is located just 5 minutes south of Egg Harbor, and 15 minutes north of Sturgeon Bay – Located one mile west of Route 42 at end of cul-de-sac with no traffic on a private gravel road. One mile walk to Carlsville featuring Door County Coffee, Door Peninsula Winery, and the Roadhouse of Carlsville.
3-7 day rentals only in June, July and August. Free day if you rent the full week.
2-night minimum other months.
Regarding room taxes--State 5.5% tax will show up in the booking process as will Door Co 8%.

Summary: Fantastic experience. It seems the house has been recently upgraded with all new appliances and enough space for 4 families including kids. The music system was a pleasant surprise. The deck on the outside was a perfect place for morning breakfast in the fall colors. Lane was hospitable and also allowed us to share some of the grocery items, not to mention a bottle of wine as well for his guests. I would love to visit this place again.
