Welcome! Newly renovated, in the Fall of 2018. This apartment building is located in Midtown. Just north of the renowned Country Club Plaza, which features many restaurants, bars, and shopping. Minutes in the other direction you will stumble upon Westport, an eclectic area, known for entertainment, bars and diners.
This unit can accommodate up to 6 guests. Linens, towels and soaps are provided. Included is coffee, tea, and cocoa to make your mornings a little smoother.
Enjoy comfortable queen beds in each private bedroom. Fully equipped kitchen complete with oven, microwave, and refrigerator for your use for a home away from home feel, including a dishwasher - BONUS! Keurig available with coffee, tea, and hot cocoa - sugar and creamer provided OR a one block jaunt to Starbucks or Kansas City's own Roasterie!
Guests have access to the apartment via a keypad lock on the front door, private code issued just to you! Check-in time is anytime after 3:00pm and checkout is 10:00am. In unit laundry available with Tide and Bounce. Iron and ironing board available just in case something didn't come out of your suitcase as planned. Bathroom amenities include fresh, clean towels, shampoo/conditioner, body wash and a hair blow dryer. Free high speed Wi-Fi. Free private parking available in the rear of the building or free street parking out front.

Southmoreland is anchored by its renowned art centers: Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art, Kansas City Art Institute, Donald J. Hall Sculpture Park, and the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art. Southmoreland Park is home to various cultural events year-round, including Shakespeare in the Park. Hotels, business parks, cafes, coffee shops, and parks are interspersed between these art institutions, but residents also enjoy proximity to Country Club Plaza, one of the most popular commercial hubs in the city. Southmoreland also neighbors other trendy neighborhoods including Old Westport, Valentine, and Hanover, all known for incredible dining and nightlife.
For a different way to explore more of the city, the KC Streetcar will give you a ride north to the River Market. The closest pick up point is 3 miles north on Main St. at Union Station.

The magnificent building was built in 1914 and just as you could 100 years ago, you can still catch the train at Union Station's AMTRAK STOP and head out across the country.
You'll also find a permanent rail exhibit called the KC RAIL EXPERIENCE, exhibit spaces for traveling exhibits produced by the Smithsonian, National Geographic and other international organizations, a PLANETARIUM, an interactive science center called SCIENCE CITY and a vibrant Theater District featuring GIANT-SCREEN MOVIES, LIVE THEATER, and so much more.
HOUSE RULES: NO pets allowed. NO smoking inside the unit, there is a small patio off the living area, or an outdoor common area. NO parties (there are other guests - please be courteous with your noise level).

Adjust the thermostat to your comfort level upon arrival. You can find the thermostat on the wall between the two bedrooms.
Upon departure:
*Please put soiled towels on the floor of the bathroom.
*Please run the dishwasher with the last of the dishes that need to be cleaned.
*No need to strip the sheets off the bed. If a sofa sleeper was used, please place used sheets/blanket on the floor next to the sofa.
