Positive: The property is welcoming and in a good location, although the nearby metro station is closed.

Negative: The host was not always available. At the beginning, they asked us to pay a deposit outside of Booking, but didn’t provide any bank details. When we requested the IBAN, we received no reply. On the day of check-in, the host once again asked for this €200 deposit and wouldn’t let us enter until the payment was made… leaving us waiting outside under the August sun. The bathroom door is also a bit unusual: when it’s open, it blocks access to the bathroom light switch.

Summary: Home okay, host no.
