Positive: we loved arriving in a clean house with crispy clean white bedlinnen and towels. The top apartment is cozy and friendly, with personal touches that really appealed to us. Beds are good. Kitchen has abundant equipment, good knives, a great variety of pots and pans. Nice cozy kitchen, separate from the living room; we could easily fit in either of them with all 6 of us. Every door has a row of hooks to hang towels, clothes etc. Plenty extra blankets/ throws, but the heating was good, so we barely used them. Contact with the host was good and friendly and helpful. Many thanks for sharing your place.
Negative: For us the "value for money" is perfectly balanced. We had a car, but if you come by train it is only a short walk uphill to the apartment. there is freedom of movement due to the Valeen cable lift to Saint Gervais from the station, so even though it is not in Saint Gervais, the connection is super easy and comfortable, right to the big skilift of Saint Gervais. The apartment is not of sterile newness, but instead has a welcoming homeliness to it, a nice kind of vintage. We appreciated that very much.
