Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: A really lovely, modern villa — spotlessly clean with great facilities throughout. Just 10 minutes from Chania old town so a great location. Loved the thoughtful little touches (a dedicated make-up towel and fruit on arrival was a nice surprise!), and the pool was fantastic — sun on it all day long. Our host was also really attentive, checking in regularly to make sure our stay was as good as it could be.
Negative: The only minor downside was that the street next to the villa was a little noisy, but that's a fair trade-off for such a great location so close to town — and it's worth noting the property itself is well secured, so it never felt unsafe for kids around the road.
