It was built in 1973 in the suburb of Nagoya and it has remained by renovation gradually on the process. There are two tatami traditional rooms and put futon beds on the floor to sleep. The 2nd floor has Queen-size bed with TV and Pachinko and Double-size bed with TV. The tatami was made by genuine straw and it has scent. The bathroom and toilet were built in 2018. The water supply is definitely clean. If you would like to experience a real Japanese house to stay but also people who are not willing to stay on tatami floors, we have western style rooms with beds on the 2nd floor. It would be great experience for your trip. The toilet and bathroom are quite new and kitchen has replaced with all IH heater and electric stuffs such as microwave, toaster and electric kettle though you don’t need to worry about burning wooden traditional house. The owner Tomo is also welcome to talk or discuss your itinerary as an advisor. He also guides around Nagoya and Gifu area such as Nakasendo ancient steps of UNESCO world heritage site and Shirakawago with Takayama for example. Suzuka F-1 season can also provide a seasonal experience even traditional festivals are quite many in Nagoya region such as Bon dance, fireworks, Buddhist rituals and some other events.
