Positive: Literally a two minute walk from St Mark’s Sq. we had room 302 which overlooked a canal so had a terrific view. Room was compact so was maybe a little short on room, but you won’t spend much time in the room so doesn’t need to be huge. Lovely bathroom, massive shower and air conditioning. Comms from the hotel were fine. It’s a self check in, unstaffed hotel but we had no issues getting access. Photo attached to this review is from the bedroom window
Negative: not much. Lift was out of order so the stairs are a little steep (been in Italy 2 weeks with two 20kg cases). says you can leave bags in reception as monitored by CCTV but cameras were covered up. Sleep with the windows open and don’t expect a lie in. Boat traffic starts about 7.00am
Summary: A compact room in a prime location. Excellent value.
