Summary: Gorgeous cottage with lots of character, low ceilings in areas but you soon learnt to dodge. All part of the character. Stair banister rail stunning character made from drift wood. All rooms on suite so no fighting over bathrooms and a jacuzzi bath downstairs. The owners were very welcoming and full book with instructions on arrival. As well as lots of ideas of places to visit. Fresh milk in the fridge on arrival and the added dry herbs etc in the kitchen added to the homely feel for the week. We would happily book this cottage again as in the middle no where away from noise, surrounded by meadows with footpaths and woodland. 15min drive away there is a beautiful lake to do water sports on, we took our paddle boards. Closest beaches are 30min drive away at Bude. This is a hidden gem.
