Wer es gemütlich haben möchte, dem steht nur 300 Meter entfernt eine der ältesten Seilbahnen Deutschlands auf den Obersalzberg zur Verfügung. Keine fünf Minuten Fußmarsch sind es in die berühmte Watzmann Therme, benannt nach dem zweithöchsten Berg Deutschlands, dem sagenumwobenen Watzmann (2714m) mit seiner Frau und den sieben Kindern. Nach dem Bad im Solebecken oder einem gemütlichen Saunagang in einem nachempfundenen Salzbergwerk-Stollen erwartet den Gast in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Haus Wendlinger das urgemütliche Bräustüberl, wo die Bierkultur seit dem Jahre 1645 gepflegt wird.
