Summary: The room was clean but you need to remember to put the “ Make The Room “ sign on your door , otherwise they won’t clean the room. I have stayed at this hotel many times and it depends on who is on the front desk, meaning what kind of experience you will get of the the hotel staff. Sometimes it’s nice and almost kind and sometimes it’s rude… they really need to educate their people how to welcome customers to the hotel.
Zuni Cafe is the next door and if your windows are straight under the restaurant you will get fumes and smells to your room. And that is disgusting.
I like the location because I can walk to Castro in 15-20 minutes and to Whole Foods etc are near by. And the hotel put me usually in my favorite room that is nice because it has a large bathroom

Summary: Good and cozy hotel. Great location on market st. Good stay on a budget. Staff was ok- there was one guy on night shift that couldnt even greet or say anything but that is respected- not all can talk i guess. Cleanliness was good. The old timey elevator was awesome.

Summary: Was excellent for a 1 day stay, but would have booked a bigger room instead of a double. Otherwise great stay.

Summary: I had stayed here previously and was disappointed the amenities and bathroom (room 15). However, this time (room 35) was considerably better.

Summary: The only positive thing i can say is that the Edwardian is safe, and reasonably affordable. Unless you’re in a pinch, I would recommend you stay somewhere else.

Summary: The Edwardian rooms/bathroom were super clean. This is a no frills basic room. Do not expect anything more: no extra pillows, no extra blankets. TV did not work. No in room coffee machine, no paper cups, no plastic cups. Do not expect even a good morning front the front desk: staff as the front desk staff could care less whether you stayed with them or not. Also the Edwardian does not have any parking. Parking requires distanced walking. It is super clean and that is all this hotel can offer. If you are handicapped it is best to avoid this hotel. But for a one night stay, the cost is good in San Francisco;. However, I learned my lesson well.
