2 Bedroom Cottage with Air Conditioner, TV and Balcony

Cedars cottage is one of the buildings on the property with a very rich history and part of amazing memories for many guests. This Outdoor Adventure themed cottage is absolutely perfect for people that love the outdoors and adventure whether you are traveling as a family, a couple or a group of friends. Plenty of space to relax and move around. In fact, go ahead and make yourself at home in the Cedars cottage.
The space
This cottage has everything you need to relax, unwind, and reconnect with family, friends, and even make new friends. Morning's are delightful while relaxing in the living room or grab a cup of Joe (coffee maker and filters provided) and walk two minutes to the Ephraim Beach and watch the sunrise. Chilly nights are cozy while snuggled up next to the fire place (wood box provided) with a good book (books available in the cottage), a great movie, or while playing a board game (cards and games available in hall closet). Meals cooked outside on the Weber charcoal grill (ask us for charcoal and lighter fluid left behind by other guests) at your cottage is even more delicious when enjoyed out on the picnic table. Your kitchen is fully stocked including a microwave, towels are soft, beds are comfy, and of course your cottage is sparkling clean. You will truly love staying in the Cedars, a two bedroom (1 queen/2 twins), full bath cottage with fully equipped kitchen, living room with fireplace and large flat screen TV, picture window, and mud room. Outdoors there is a picnic table and BBQ grill along with deck chairs (this cottage does not have a deck) but is the closet to the fire pit.
From your cottage you can enjoy a starry night. Walk two minutes to the Ephraim beach for some sand and a swim. Join the other guests in our surrounding cottages for stories, laughter and smores around the fire pit.
Parking is right next to your cottage and boosted WiFi is on the house.
Guest access
Guests have access to entire property which includes large grassy areas, children's playground, community fire pit, and quite back roads. Guests do not have access to the other cottages located on the property.
Other things to note
You will want to bring the following items for your stay:
1. Charcoal and lighter fluid if you enjoy grilling (we may have some left over from guests)
2. Beach towels
3. Doggie duty bags if you bring your pet
4. Spices/Salt/Pepper - the county health inspector will not allow us to leave any food items in the cottages for guests to use.
5. Extra toilet paper. We provide two rolls.
6. Extra paper towel. We provide one roll.
7. Extra trash bags. We provide two.

Summary: The cottage was great. There was a lovely little welcome basket with Door County coffee and makings for s'mores (too cold & rainy for the fire pit). Since we came with our yellow lab, the entrance was a "mud room" which worked as a place to feed her and drop our shoes, her leash, etc. The bathroom is very small and could use a fan, but the place is a cottage, so we were not expecting anything huge. Other than that, the bed was a comfy king size and the rest of the place was veery comfortable...and clean. That is very important to me, so for an older place, I was thrilled! The owners were wonderful to deal with and I just wish that we had met them before we left.
