Summary: The good part about the hotel is the location. You can get a beach view for a decent price. The pool is nice and maintained well and the walk to the beach takes about 15 seconds. The main issue we had was the lack of cleanliness in the room itself. The fan in the bedroom was warped from the humidity and covered in thick dust. The bathroom smelled like old urine, the wallpaper was peeling off the wall, and the shower didn’t really drain. It took about 25-30 minutes after each shower for it to clear out. The refrigerator had seen much better days as well. Some of the lamps in the room didn’t work and there was already sand in the bedroom when we checked in. I generally refuse to write anything negative about a place but they need to update some items and make sure things are clean and working for guests. I will stay somewhere else next time. I do want to say the staff I talked to while I was there were nice as well.
