Nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina lies a family estate that spans 28 acres of natural rolling hills, mountains and forest. Private retreat, located between Hendersonville and Asheville, surrounded by unique farms, apple orchards, wineries & breweries. The grounds offer 2 lakes, several babbling creeks, hiking trails, open spaces, and most importantly peace and quiet. You'll be amazed by the nightly show of fireflies & star filled skies. It's not just the cozy house itself you'll get to enjoy, but the surrounding ponds, trails & streams are there for you to make use of as well! Jump in the "swimming hole" at the waterfall to cool off; take a hike along the main trails enjoying the many birds, wildlife & vegetation; hop in the canoe at the pond and gaze down at the bass, turtles, and occasional otter!
You'll have the entire house & decks for your use (including grill) You may swim & fish the ponds (catch & release please; fishing gear provided); use the canoe; hike trails around the ponds. Please note the motorbikes on the lower deck are NOT for guest use. The caretakers' living space at the top of the hill above the rental house will be off limits to guests.
