Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: The location is superb, surrounded by beautiful countryside with a view of Lock Etive, about 5 minutes walk to the shore. The lodge was immaculately clean and very well kitted out. Many lovely walks right from the door, including into Taynuilt which has some good basic shops.
Negative: We were a family of three adults. Four adults would have been a bit of a push, the twin bedroom is very small with small beds. On a very minor note, two oven shelves (rather than one) would be helpful! Didn't bother us as our friends were staying next door and we cooked together.
Summary: Beautiful scenery to wake up to every morning, a lovely location with lots of walks and day trips.
