HOUSE RULES
QUIET ENJOYMENT. While we are wanting you to enjoy your stay at our property. Normal residential laws apply. No excessive noise after 10pm. The Guest, along with neighbours, shall enjoy each other’s company in a quiet and respectful manner to each other’s enjoyment. The Guest is expected to behave in a civilized manner and shall be good neighbours with any residents of the immediate area. All Guests are responsible for their invitees to make sure that your stay is peaceful and enjoyable. Creating a disturbance of the area by large gatherings or parties shall be grounds for immediate termination of this Agreement.
PETS. The Host does not allow pets: There are no pets allowed on the Premises except for assistance dogs. If for some reason damage is done by guests’ assistance dogs or extra cleaning is required due to hair or pet secretions, the host may charge the guest accordingly.
SMOKING POLICY. Smoking inside the Premises is prohibited. Smoking outside with the doors closed at all times is only acceptable. If butts need to be cleaned up, extra charges may be incurred by the guest.
TRASH. The Guests shall dispose of all waste material generated during the Lease Term in the bins provided or take to the local bins around town or taken to the Cooktown Waste Transfer and pay the fees accordingly.
LOCK OUT/LOST KEYS – If you have locked yourself out of the property and an Agent is called out between 5pm and 8am, $110 including GST will be charged as a call out fee to gain access to the property.
If the keys are lost, a fee to get more keys cut or a fee to re-key the whole property may be charged to the Guest.
CLEANING/LINEAN - Please ensure when vacating the property that it is left in a clean and tidy manner. All furnishings need to be in the same place. If there is excess cleaning, charges may apply.
LOCK OUT - If you have locked yourself out of the property and an Agent is called out between 7pm and 7am, $110 including GST will be charged as a call out fee to gain access to the property. If the keys are lost a fee to re-key the whole property will be charged to the Guest.
CREDIT CARDS - We do accept Mastercard, Visa and most other credit cards. 1.8% surcharge will apply. In the event of any extra charges e.g cleaning, breakages, damages to the property, missing items etc.) you the guest authorize the agent to charge those accounts to you utilizing the credit card provided at booking on behalf of the owner. The guest will be provided a copy of all charges. All charges are subject to our discretion. This authority is valid for sixty (60) days after the last day of your stay.
