Positive: Everything was wonderful. The owner Adel was an exceptional host, and the care and attention he gave us made our stay feel special. The room was fully equipped, with air conditioning and excellent Wi-Fi; the bathroom and shower were great, and we slept very comfortably. There was bottled water available for guests in a small fridge in the corridor. The guest house is right by the lake, and the sunset from our room was beautiful. The owner even drove us to the temples and refused to accept a tip. And the breakfast was the best we had in any of the eight hotels we stayed at in Egypt.
Negative: There was very little to dislike. I booked several months in advance to secure the room, but later noticed that the price was around €30 lower when I checked shortly before arrival. That was just a small regret about my booking timing, though—it didn’t affect our excellent stay.
