Positive: The property, the facilities, the host, the location, the atmosphere... everything was absolutely exceptional! I've booked quite a few family homes in the past, but Alpenblick-Steineckhof definitely tops them all! Antonia is the most gracious host! She was in contact with us even before the trip, and did above and beyond to ensure we had a great time. The house is super-modern while in parallel conveying a fine rustic feeling. It is quipped with all the required appliances, and even came with board games for the kids. There is central heating which auto-adjusts to the temperature outside, so it's always nice and cozy indoors, even when it's raining and cold outside. We were also impressed by how spotless and clean the place was, including the towels, linens, etc... And to top it off, We had our own private cows, which we visited every morning :) The location is superb! The House is quiet and surrounded by the majestic Black forest, and close to all main attractions in the area. It also provides easy access to day trips throughout Germany, Switzerland and France. We totally felt this was our Home away from home, and will most definitely come back! We've already recommended Alpenblick-Steineckhof and Antonia to all our friends!!
