The 7 Canyons Ranch Lodge in Tarpley is one of the biggest properties we have available at Backroads Reservations, and this massive, kid-friendly space is also one of our most popular. There are amenities here you won't find just anywhere, like a hot tub, fire pit, two huge fireplaces, caterer-style kitchen, a pool table, and even a meeting/conference room. Indoors and out, there's plenty to do here-and you're guaranteed to do it all in style!

Before we go inside, we'd like to point out that the lodge is on a spacious 500-acre ranch, where miles of hiking trails, perfect fishing spots, observation decks to spot zebras, elk, buffalo, deer and many other exotic species roaming the property, and outdoor seating all give you the chance to take in the great outdoors as only the Hill Country can present it. There are also smaller properties here that can be used by couples who'd like more privacy; ask us for details when you book. A fire pit and grills are here to add to your outdoor enjoyment.

All that, and we haven't even stepped indoors-and there's a ton to see there! Inside, there are eight bedrooms, each with their own private bath with shower, with sleeping accommodations for up to 28 people. The dens provide roomy entertainment space that sets the stage for large groups without feeling cramped. The huge kitchen is equipped with all the appliances, cookware, cutlery, and service dishes you would need, and all bedroom and bathroom linens are provided. There are also bar and dining areas with ample seating. All rooms come with central air and heating, and the public spaces feature large-screen satellite TVs with DVD players.
