While we don’t have a covered event space, you’re welcome to work with a local tent rental company to set up a tent in our spacious front yard—creating the perfect outdoor setting for your gathering.

The entire motel will be reserved for your guests only. The courtyard is the perfect gathering area for small events.
(6) Rooms have King Beds, (4) Rooms have 2 Full Size Beds,
All Rooms have 50" TV, Keurig, complete with complimentary water, coffee, creamers and sugar. Also it has a mini fridge and microwave. Fully stocked with fresh linens. Our cleaning staff will not bother you during your stay. They only clean once you have checked out. However if you need addition assistance or additional linens we are always just a phone call away.
Toiletries such as starter set of soaps, body wash, shampoo and conditioner are also supplied. You'll also find extra hangers, a blow-dryer and small clothes steamer. (if you need and iron please let us know)
The unit is heated and cooled by a mini split system with a remote control.
And last but not least don't forget to take advantage of the courtyard located near the office.
Guest Access:
Each room is equipped with a smart lock and codes are emailed and text day of check in. Person booking the motel will be responsible for passing codes out to other guests.
You will be given your door code 3 hours prior to check in. Check in is at 4pm or later but if the room is ready early we don't mind you coming in a little before then. Because be are run like an Airbnb the office is NOT always open and you will check in at your convenience with the code given to you.
The Neighborhood:
Located on the outskirts of Chattanooga, TN in the small town of Trenton, Ga. Minutes to local attractions and one of Georgia's most visited state parks, Cloudland Canyon State Park
Getting Around:
If your looking for a shuttle to Chattanooga or to a local wedding we do not have Uber but I've been told Lyft is available. My first suggestion is Lookout Limousine rentals. They have a 14 passenger party bus that is perfect for big groups looking for a driver and also have special events that can be booked such as wine tours and Christmas light tours during the season. They will pick you up and drop you off at The Groovy Nomad
Other Things to Note:
Once you have booked you will be charged a non refundable deposit of $300. Look for your confirmation email. In the confirmation email you will be given a link to fill some additional information to help us better serve you. It will also asked to verify ID. This is a security feature to protect you and other guests. This is a common practice in the hotel/motel industry.

- Booking becomes non refundable at 4pm 60 days prior to check in date
- Check in time is 4pm EST & Check out time is 10am EST.
- We have a no pet policy.
- Quiet time is between 10pm and 9am.
