Beautiful Yurt nestled between a tall everlasting coastal redwood forest and a flower-studded sunny meadow. Located on a private working family farm in sunny Fieldbrook, the warm haven of the coast, above the fog belt, but just 10 minutes from the ocean. Enjoy the farm life including chickens, a pony, rabbits, guinea fowl, and pigs, or simply sit and enjoy the serene quiet and open spaces. (Pony rides available upon request.)
The yurt is very cozy in the winter with a pellet fire place, electric heaters, and many soft fuzzy blankets. Come snuggle up!
Delight in the peaceful quiet of the morning with only the sounds of the songbirds chirping and the light breeze blowing through the redwood canopy. An open meadow and southern exposure ensure plenty of sunshine and warmth.
This property has so much to offer, have fun hanging in the tree house, visit the barn or sit around the fire pit and take in the early evening, or BBQ and enjoy the forest views. Wiz on the kids zip-line or meander the magic forest trail and sit inside and marvel at the redwood cathedral of trees. A fully equipped shared sauna with outdoor shower can be used to rejuvenate after a long day of fun.
As a working farm, we seasonally will have fresh veggies from the garden, & eggs from the coop to share for your dinner/breakfast, or dine at the Fieldbrook market located down the road. They have the best burgers and salads in town and live music on Friday nights.
The Yurt has King Size bed and a couch that folds out into a comfortable full-size bed. A small fully equipped kitchen with a stove, oven, and refrigerator. A beautiful bathroom complete with salvaged Redwood-Stum Burl vanity, and tiled shower. Coffee, tea, and french press provided.
Humboldt boasts having more locally made organic products per capita than any other county in the county. We are also home to 6 majestic Rivers, and miles of endless coastline full of secluded beaches to enjoy. River rafting in the summer is an all-time favorite. Nearby attractions include hiking, mountain biking, boating, river and deep-sea fishing, surfing, stand up paddle boarding and so much more!
