Positive: A beautiful villa in a lovely setting which suited our needs to a tee. Spacious and very comfortable, with places to relax for every occasion, shade or sun. The pool was a great size and lovely and clean. The beds were new and offer a super night's sleep. The aircon worked very well. The kitchen was well equipped. It was nice that a lot of the basics, like salt and pepper and oil, and herbs, and barbecue charcoal, matches, lighters, were all there, because buying a whole pot of salt when you will only use a teaspoon or two is frustrating. Debbie who looks after the property for the owners was very friendly and helpful and made sure we had all the info before we settled in. Xativa offers a lot in terms of supermarkets and provisions, and I would have liked to explore more, but going in August the heat meant we didn't have too much energy. But I could have lounged round the pool reading all week! And playing pool - we enjoyed the pool table and outdoor kitchen, and at the end were disappointed we hadn't got round to table football and table tennis. The whole place was wonderfully geared up for families. Our week went too quickly!
