Our tranquil cabin is perfectly situated 5 minutes from vibrant downtown Ellijay, and 15 minutes from Blue Ridge, both of which were recently named to Southern Living’s list of “Best Small Towns in Georgia.”
The Lazy Bear balances rustic with modern and radiates character and vintage charm. Perfect for couples, families, or a weekend with the girls/boys, the layout is ideal for privacy and comfort, featuring one bedroom per floor and access to an updated full bath on each level. Plenty of space for your group to spread out and have some privacy.
Lower Level patio has a hot tub overlooking a wooded ravine – a great spot to enjoy peace and tranquility of the forest, while sharing day’s adventure stories, reminiscing about the past or making plans for the future.

Summary: The first thing I want to say is the host was great. Easy communication through the app and he responded quickly. We didn’t need to communicate much though because the house had everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked, in fact it had a full set of knives, cutting boards, and pots and pans. The house had 3 floors with a queen bed and full bathroom on each floor. Our favorite part was the hot tub which was right outside the basement door so it was easy to get in and out of. There were plenty of towels, which is helpful for how many times we went in the hot tub. He had a great time and hope to return again soon. I would definitely recommend this property.
