This modern log home is the perfect getaway if you are looking for peace, quiet, and crystal clear star gazing! Located on 200 private acres, Wilderness Lodge is a private, remote, and cozy retreat. During your stay you will be the only renters - feel free to use the hot tub, lounge on the deck near the stream, or explore the property. The kitchen comes fully equipped and the house has a washer and dryer on the main floor.
The Log House was built in early 2000 and the layout includes everything you need for a one-level living. On the main floor there are two bedrooms each with queen beds, a large bathroom with tub/shower, kitchen, dining room and great room equipped with a fireplace. There is also a washer and dryer unit for your convenience during your stay. A is a spiral staircase leads upstairs to the open loft that also houses 2 queen size beds and a reading nook.
The entire house has a wrap-around porch complete with comfortable rocking chairs, dining tables and chairs, grill and the hot tub.
Across the driveway there is a large new deck which overlooks the stream that runs the length of the property. The deck includes a picnic table and seating and is the perfect place to relax and soak in the sun, listening to the peaceful stream. There is also a tipi painted by local artist, Joy Putterman, which adventurous guests are welcome to stay the night on the two cots!
While the house comfortably sleeps up to 8 people on the 4 beds, for those wanting additional space, there is a studio apartment located above the garage that includes a queen bed, couch, kitchenette, and 3/4 bathroom. Rental of the studio is an additional $55/night. The studio will never be rented to another guest during your stay.
The house and studio apartment can sleep up to 12 people utilizing a total of 5 queen beds and two couches.
