Check out this beautiful Townsend, TN authentic log cabin. Built in 1999, this cabin has new, modern appliances and amenities set up with the guest in mind. The cabin was just purchased in September 2020 and updated/redecorated just for you.
Whispering Pines is located in the beautiful Timberwinds Resort with winding, wooded but concrete roads. Access to the cabin is safe and friendly for motorcyclist and all other vehicles. There are no steep roads to get to this Whispering Pines. With parking for two vehicles the cabin can accommodate up to 4 guests.
Once you arrive to the cabin, you will find a rather large deck on the backside of the cabin overlooking a hollow with lots of wild flowers and sometimes even a bear will visit. The deck provides an outdoor dining space as well as a screened in covered porch for the large hot tub. The BBQ grill is there for your use as well.
The open concept floor plan includes a fully equipped kitchen complete with a stainless steal appliances and all of the pots & pans that you might need. The living room has a comfy sofa & recliner for watching movies on the flat screen TV and a gas fireplace. The downstairs master has a huge 4 poster log king sized bed, a dresser and ensuite full bathroom. Please note that the master bedroom is open to the living area.
In the loft area, you will find a full size bed. There is a 2nd full bathroom with a walk in shower located on the 1st floor. (Please note that the stairs to the loft are quite narrow.)

Wow! Whiskey in the Woods is such an amazing property. From the abundance of privacy to the smallest detail to make our guests stay a delight, this cabin offers so much!
Outside you will find a large covered deck with ceiling fans and comfortable furniture for nature watching or having a warm cup of coffee. There is a bonfire area as well for that evening spent with your family & friends talking about past memories and making ones for the future. The back deck has a gas BBQ grill for guests to cook burgers or steaks, baked potatoes and veggies!!
When walking in to the cabin, guests will enter the living room area. With comfortable reclining seating for up to 6, the living room is very welcoming. There is a wood burning fireplace as well as a flat screen TV with YouTube TV channels. The kitchen is just off of the living room with dining seating. It is fully equipped with all of the comforts of cooking at home.
The bedrooms at Whiskey in the Woods each have a queen size bed, dressers and plenty of room for relaxing. There is a loft with a sofa sleeper for the kids or extra guests.

FOR OUR PET FRIENDLY VISITORS: PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT DOGS ARE ONLY ALLOWED ON THE 1ST FLOOR OF THIS CABIN.
PETS MUST BE APPROVED BY MANAGEMENT PRIOR TO RESERVATION. We reserve the right to refuse any pet at any time. We would like for you and your family (including the four legged members) to have the best vacation ever and appreciate your willingness to abide by these guidelines.
*We only accept dogs, no cats allowed. We only accept 2 pets per reservation.
*We charge a $70.00 per stay per pet fee which is not refundable.
*Your dog must be on a flea maintenance program. (Like Frontline, Advantage, etc.)
*Your dog must be crated while left in the cabin alone.
*Your dog must not get on our furniture. If we find pet hair on our furniture upon your departure, you will be charged $10.00 per each quilt/comforter/sofa that must be cleaned to remove dog hair.
*If your dog damages our vacation home in any way, ie, urine on the carpet/floor, chewed furniture/walls/doors or molding, you will be held responsible for the damage repair costs.
*Your dog must be leashed when on the outside of the cabin. This is for the safety of your dog as there may be other animals in the area that could harm your beloved pet.

FEES: The management company of this cabin charges a $20 per stay Damage Waiver Fee to every customer. It is automatically included in your rate. This covers our guests for up to $350 worth of accidental damage should damage occur during their stay. If damage occurs to the cabin, furnishings, etc, please report it to management as soon as possible so that the damage can be repaired. You may opt out of paying the $20 damage waiver fee by putting down a $350 REFUNDABLE damage deposit. DAMAGE CAUSED BY A PET IS NOT COVERED UNDER THE DAMAGE WAIVER.
Common Concerns:
*Road Conditions: Some of our cabins are on steep, narrow, curvy, mountain roads. If you are concerned about road conditions to get to a cabin, please feel free to ask us! None of our cabins require a 4-wheel drive under normal weather conditions but some do in inclement weather.
*TV & WiFi: We do have TV's and WiFi in almost all of our cabins. There are times when heavy cloud cover, weather systems, mountains, or trees will cause problems with the signals. We always want our guests to have the comforts they want on vacation, but there are times we cannot control this problem.
*Pests & Wildlife: Here in the Smoky Mountains, we have lots of native bugs and wildlife. All of our cabins are treated for pests, but there are times you will find bugs or even have trouble with bugs. Fall/Winter is ladybug season in the Smokies and these little buggers are attracted to heat, meaning your cabin and every other one out there that is warm! They will swarm to the cabin and you'll probably see them alive/dead on windowsills, in vents, etc. Rest assured that your cabin has regular pest control and is professionally cleaned, including bug removal, before and after your stay. However, these bugs come back right away and unfortunately there is nothing that can be done about them until the season passes. Please never feed, taunt or approach any wildlife. This is their home and we are the visitors.
*There are no refunds for storms or power outages. If there is a power outage, there will be no water and potentially no heat. Storms can also make roads impassable, so if a storm is in the forecast during your reservation, come prepared with water and non-perishable food, etc.
