Positive: This is a real home from home; I could have moved in and stayed for ever! The kitchen is extensively equipped and I actually cooked proper meals (rather than just reheating ready meals) as there was space and all the tools one needs. The dining table in the kitchen can seat 6 comfortably. The lounge is large and comfortable, with the best view ever right down the valley. It's a great space in which to relax. We didn't use the conservatory, but it's there and would be useful extra space if there were 6 people staying. The two bedrooms and bathroom upstairs provide you with everything you need. The shower is walk-in and the bath is full sized. The hosts are lovely and provide thoughtful touches, like the milk in the fridge, marmalade and jam in the cupboard and biscuits left for us to enjoy. And the books in the bookcase upstairs; that is a lovely touch! The dog had a lovely time as the garden is fully fenced, so she could run around safely and pop in and out of the house as she pleased.
Negative: Probably the only negative point is the lack of internet, which is becoming rather essential these days. We relied on 4g signal which we got in the upstairs bedroom and on the driveway. It also meant the TV only had regular live channels and no ability to view past programmes.
