In the heart of this natural and cultural Artistic Park, just a short distance from spots of elevated historic and artistic interest (San Quirico d'Orcia is just 1.8 km away, Pienza 3.5 km, with Montalcino and Montepulciano also within easy reach) and famous spas (Bagno Vignoni, Bagni San Filippo, Chianciano and San Casciano dei Bagni), Villa Campriano is set upon a hilltop, commanding a magnificent 360-degree view over the surrounding valleys and hills, with their undulating contours cloaked in woods, farmhouses heralded by rows of cypress trees, churches and ancient hamlets. Considering the passion, the quality of the materials and the loving precision with which it has been performed, the just-completed renovation of this old farmhouse is one of the finest examples in the entire Val d'Orcia. The property extends over 25 hectares of woods and olive groves, has well-tended external areas complete with a panoramic 6x12 m swimming pool, an unusual and attractive internal courtyard and a veranda where guests can eat in the open air. The interiors are spacious and furnished with attention to the tiniest detail, with a large extremely comfortable living area and a splendid Tuscan kitchen on the ground floor, while the sleeping area on the first floor has magnificent bathrooms with large washbasins in travertine stone. The quality furnishings create the atmosphere of the typical houses of the Tuscan countryside, elegant and welcoming. Another special feature of the villa is the delightful breeze wafting up every day from the woods in the valley below to cool the hilltop.
The annexe, which faces the internal courtyard, has also been made ready for the 2011 season. The restoration work, which has just ended, was carried out with the same standards of quality, elegance, care and charm that distinguish this enchanting property. The annexe is made up of 2 bedrooms with private bathroom, living-room and a spectacular kitchen with dining area. The annexe will be available only for larger groups (up to 6 people only the villa, from 7 to 10 the villa and the annexe are available).
