Yellow Rose was built in 1910, and is in walking distance to beautiful downtown Cape Girardeau. Enjoy dinner (Top of the Marq) or coffee (The Ground About) at the stunning historic Marquette Tower. You can also enjoy an evening of music on the courthouse lawn at the gazebo during Tunes of Twilight. The house is just blocks away from a variety of local shopping, bars and restaurants. Take the time to stroll down the Mississippi River riverfront to view the flood wall painted by local artist. So much to do within blocks!
Each room in the house was created to provide optimal comfort all our guest. All beds are made with soft linens and down comforters. Enjoy your time here playing games at our poker table, the parlor has a bar and Roku tv for your enjoyment. The dining room has a large table that seats 6-8.

Summary: Our family really enjoyed out stay at this beautiful home. It looks like a dollhouse from the outside, and it gets better inside! Each room is comfortably furnished with a mix of antiques and contemporary touches. We really enjoyed the enormous sofa in the parlor - such a great place to gather. We spent several hours in the large backyard sitting around the firepit (although we didn't light it) enjoying the perfect weather. The beds were comfortable and the sheets soft. We loved the large front porch and comfy furniture. It is very close to SEMO and to lots of good restaurants and shops. We would definitely stay here again.
