Originating from the Historic Fort Verde, this diamond-in-the-rough is perfect to enjoy quiet, sacred space. Restore your mind, body, heart & soul. An impeccably clean, chemical-free harmonious home with an epic garden and sanctuary for health conscious souls. If you're looking for a place of peace, comfort & beauty, the Verde Fortress is soft, feminine, healthy, and cozy home with everything you need for a peaceful, luxurious stay.
Just a short walk from parking, entering the home feels like a spacious open studio with a soft, harmonious flow. You will notice the amazing view of the garden through the large kitchen window with the most amazing views May-October.
There are plenty of seating areas in the living space to relax. The kitchen is well stocked with appliances, organic oils, vinegars, herbs, spices, condiments, coffee, tea, creamers and sweeteners and anything else you would need to prepare or cook a nice meal. I don’t provide a microwave, but there is a toaster & toaster oven. I also don’t provide a TV, but you can watch the nature channel out back featuring birds, hummingbirds, butterflies, bees, dragonflies, and free roaming hens :)
The back patio is very spacious with plenty of room to lounge, enjoy coffee or a glass of wine, roll out a yoga mat or joint, workout, or just sit in peace and take in the surrounding beauty and sounds of the garden.
Events and small celebrations and gatherings are ok, but there is an extra fee, and must be discussed beforehand.
It is a perfect space for small ceremonies such as weddings, baby showers, garden gatherings ect.
Please enjoy the fresh, organic eggs or anything else that is in the fridge door.
I am a massage therapist, and utilize the 3rd bedroom to offer my guests custom massage and spa treatments.
FOR LONG TERM STAYS:
The 3rd bedroom is furnished with a large beautiful rug, mirror and small corner desk. Would be a great workout/yoga/mediation/office space.
Garage parking will fit 2 small cars, or one large SUV. No more than 3 cars parked total.
Security Camera on front driveway and outside entryway.
Must keep house clean, orderly, safe, and use the natural cleaners provided.
Non-Smoking House.
Be kind and respectful to chickens that live on site.
I am on site a day a week for yard & garden maintenance.
