LOWER DESCRIPTION:
The 208 Flume duplex has a Lower Unit and an Upper unit and is located in historic downtown Kellogg that has a mix of older buildings, restaurants, homes, sports complexes, and apartments. There are several vacation homes in the immediate area, and the Trail of the Coeur d’Alene is accessed a block away, so groups of vacationers and bike riders are often seen traversing through the neighborhood in the summer months. For winter sports Silver Mountain is less than a mile easy car drive away, and Lookout Pass is a 26 minute drive on I-90. Local specialty shops, cafes, and business are just across the street.
PARKING:
Parking is across Flume Ave in the open public parking lot that is used by local residents, vacation renters, and people using nearby businesses. Both the Lower & Upper guests share the same 50’ long walkway/driveway for accessing the duplex.
LOWER OPEN FLOOR PLAN. WINDOW VIEWS:
The 1700+ sq ft LOWER boasts spacious kitchen and livinEg room areas that have large windows and views of distant forested hillsides. The LOWER provides a nice home base for launching outdoor adventures into the Bitterroots, then returning home and relaxing in the evenings.
BIKE STORAGE INSIDE:
There is out of the way floor space in the kitchen for 6 bikes.
SOFA BED:
The 6th person needs to sleep on a living room sofa.

Summary: This rental was very close to the venue that the class reunion was held at and was perfect for me. There were plenty of towels and blankets. Seating was plentiful throughout the rental. I found the kitchen to be well stocked with necessities. The only recommendation that I have is that perhaps a full length mirror should be installed on the door of the main floor bathroom.
