'Lakeside Escape' is an extremely rare waterfront 4-bedroom 4.5-bathroom home located on Lake Cumberland with access to the water. The property is located in the secluded gated community of Lake Cumberland Resort. The public boat ramp and access to swimming pool is located within walking distance from the home.
This newly renovated and beautifully decorated home boasts amazing views of the South Fork River of Lake Cumberland. Enjoy the tranquility of the property while relaxing in the three-season room. The large deck with ample seating is perfect for family gatherings.
The main level features a newly renovated large kitchen that opens to the dining area with seating for twelve. The well appointed kitchen comes with a double oven and all the amenities needed to prepare and serve a delicious Thanksgiving meal. The living area is equipped with expansive windows highlighting the amazing views of the lake all year round.
The basement is a perfect place for kids of all ages to hang out. The basement living areas includes a bunk bed, queen size sleeper sofa, additional sofa, television, and ARCADE! The arcade is equipped with over 17,000 games for endless hours of fun and entertainment. Board games, puzzles, and cards are also available for guest use.
Recreational activities include boating, hiking, fishing, hunting, and ATV trails can be found close by. The Lake Cumberland Resort III office offers various sundries, ice, propane, homemade fudge, and ice cream. Keno Cove restaurant, located at the LCR3 resort office is open daily. Summary: Our best yet supplied home. Could have left a lot of supplies home. The kitchen was well appointed with everything, and I mean everything you would need with multiples of everything. No shortage or limited number of items (toilet paper, paper towel, garbage bags, dishwasher pods, aluminum foil, zip lock bags, etc). Bath & Body Works hand soaps in all the bathrooms, Dawn in the kitchen, pods for the dishwasher, huge supply of dish cloths and dish towels and laundry detergent. We all said wow this is nice! Comfortable mattresses, the lower level mattress was on the bouncy side. We had an upstairs shower/tub drained slowly, sent a message to the host. Received a prompt reply and was told Chuck would be there in 15 minutes… which he was and on a Sunday. Both upstairs shower/tubs were tended to while we were out for the day. Great road to the house. We had a place booked in Tennessee, we come to drive curvy roads in our corvettes. Due to hurricane Helene we canceled. Happy this was available with booking 4 days prior to arrival. A lake destination would be great, looking to drive curvy roads, not many in the immediate area. With short notice, it checked all our boxes and we made it work. Thanks for making your home have all the comforts of our homes. Well done!
