Nestled behind Taylor Inn and surrounded by a flourishing garden and chicken coop, the Chicken House is an ideal rural get away. This “tiny home” is a quaint, rustic cottage where you’re sure to feel welcome. Sneaking away from the hustle and bustle of the city, the Chicken House atmosphere provides visitors with an element of slow country livin’. There is an AppleTV in the Chicken House but no cable. However there is DishTV in the next door Taylor Inn which visitors to the Chicken House are welcome to use. But the owners highly recommend watching "Chicken TV" instead... also know as feeding time... every afternoon in the yard.
The Chicken House is located on the grounds of Taylor Inn, a five room Inn recently restored and reopened. The roles of this house have changed over the past century or so, but have not strayed away from welcoming both visitors and locals with a level of hospitality that cannot be achieved without a true desire to showcase a love for this community.
