Summary: A three-night family trip to Hattiesburg. Positive: ideal location to restaurants, shopping, parks, trail, zoo, etc. The pool area was nice but not enough umbrellas at all to provide shade during most of the day! Breakfast ran out of food every morning, despite arriving early. Breakfast eating area is cramped and crowded. Things could be rearranged to make it more spacious for guests. Commune stairways and hallways were not as clean as other TownePlace Suites we’ve stayed at. Immediately after checking in we had to request fresh bedding for the pullout couch because it hadn’t been replaced and was very visibly nasty/spoiled. Kitchenette area was obviously not wiped down but we didn’t say anything because we just wanted to move forward. If we ever were to return to Hattiesburg we would try a different hotel. It wasn’t horrible though.
