This is Modern Dwelling's True Studio, a shipping container home. It's modern design is likened to a Scandinavian or Pacific Northwest aesthetic. It is set in the shared backyard behind the main home. Not only is the subdivision on a dead end private type street, the studio and backyard are pretty private & quiet too. With the occasional share with me, or my dog or main house apartment residents. I often don't even see renters , but am always available if needed! The backyard & covered patio is for you to use as you want. Move the furniture around to the fireplace or in the lawn or circle up with your guests- it's all up to you!

*Full kitchen for cooking enjoyment (stove, oven, under counter refrigerator with freezer, with all necessary cooking utensils and pots & pans.
*Incinerating toilet, everything goes in, flush and all of it is incinerated away.
*Reclaimed Columbia Riverwood salvaged wood furniture ie: table and stools, countertop, walls, floors and doors.
*Local artist art on wall
*Wifi - high speed internet
*a Plush very comfortable double bed
*Luxurious rain shower
*Brazilian stone bathroom flooring
*Pratt & Larsen tiled bathroom
*Mini Split Heat Pump for AC, fan and backup heat.
*Compact plug in heater
*Water Heater - 20 gallon electric - enough for one long shower and a sink full of dishes, refills and reheats OR two short showers.
*French press & coffee maker and complimentary coffee
*Tea kettle & complimentary tea
* Snacks
*Huge (20'x20') covered patio with a fireplace and plenty of wood (unless there is a burn ban) table & chairs and grill. (notify me in advance if you think you may use grill so i can clean it and have full tank of propane ready.)
Guest access * You have full access to the modern dwelling, shared yard, patio and everything it has to offer.
We also have a 2008 VW Bug available for rent to guests. Separate rental agreement, your insurance to cover any damages, simple waiver to be signed. It's onsite and easy peasy and an affordable option for my guests. Contact me if you'd like to discuss further.
