Welcome to Reels Cove tiny home at Mountains Ledge, a Timberroot Rustic Retreat. Set on a cliff nestled amongst the trees, during your stay you will enjoy a the perfect tiny home getaway with your own private hot tub, furnished patio, private fire pit, along with an amazing view.
Reels Cove can comfortably sleep up to 4 guests between the main floor king-sized bed and a king-sized loft bed. The tiny home is equipped with a full kitchen, 32" Smart TV, internet, comfy living space, and more!
NO SMOKING:
Smoking, vaping, and the use of e-cigarettes is prohibited inside Timberroot properties.
Not only does smoking leave behind unwelcome odor and residue, but it can be extremely dangerous in a 100% wooden home. You may smoke/vape outside on the deck. However, please ensure that windows and doors are closed so that the smoke/vapor does not enter the building.
Cigarette butts should be fully extinguished and disposed of properly in exterior trash receptacles. Any evidence of smoking/vaping or smoke/vapor damage or odor inside the property or cigarette damage/debris on the exterior of the property during your stay will result in a $150 fine, due to non-compliance with our stated policies.
PESTS:
We take great care to ensure our properties are free from pests. Our properties are regularly treated by professional pest control and our staff takes preventative measures to keep pests out.
However, as our properties are located in wooded areas, it is possible for guests to encounter insects and/or small woodland creatures like mice. If you encounter an unwelcome pest inside your lodging, please contact our Guest Services team immediately so our grounds team can address the problem as quickly as possible. We ask that guests help us prevent pests by keeping doors and window screens closed and maintaining proper cleanliness during their stay.
By booking with us, you accept that encountering insects and woodland creatures is a possibility and that no refunds will be issued for such instances.
All of our tiny homes are equipped with either keyless entry systems or a lock box that make check-in and check-out a fully automated process. Full instructions will be provided prior to your check-in date.

You will have your tiny home all to yourself during your stay. There is a shared fire pit and gazebo on the property that is a first come first serve space for all our guests so please be considerate of your neighbors. There is enough parking for 2 vehicles.
Reels Cove is beautifully equipped with everything you need for a luxurious and affordable tiny home escape. Inside this 312 sq ft tiny home you will discover an aundance of open, airy space. This tiny home has a sleek, trendy aesthetic with a clean and open feel and can host up to 4 people. The first level living space has a loaded kitchen, a sitting area with couches and a TV, and the first Queen sized bed. Large wooden steps lead to a loft that has a second Queen-size bed and storage cubbies.
Reels has a loaded kitchen that is fully stocked with everything you will need during your stay including pots & pans, cooking utensils, a sink, fridge, 2-burner convection stove top, and large countertops. It also has a small toaster oven. In our tiny cabin you can cook your own meal and enjoy the sunset from the comfort of your own patio. Wake up with a cup of coffee and watch the sunrise over the ridge with the Keurig and coffee and flavored creamers that are provided.
Don't be fooled by the word "tiny"! Reels Cove has a full sized bathroom includes toiletries, towels, and shower. The bathroom comes with our very own Enchanted Forest blend of shampoo, conditioner and shower gel.
Enjoy all sorts of cozy as you step onto private outside deck of your tiny home. Relax in the hot tub, enjoy a glass of wine while watching the stars from your adorandack chairs, or make s'mores in your Solo fire pit. To keep the space comfortable, a mini split AC unit and heat pump are provided for each tiny home. We also provide a white noise machine in every home to help you sleep soundly.

Reels Cove tiny home is named after a mine built in the 1940’s. It is a popular destination for local folks looking for a rugged off-roading adventure.

If you are traveling through Whitwell, TN to get here, Google Maps will try to send you up Big Fork Road. Please DO NOT use this route as it is a logging road and can be quite dangerous. You must use Condra Switch Road to come up Signal Mountain. If you have any questions please feel free to call guest services at (423) 251-5287.
To make the most of your stay, we recommend a car to get around. Each of our tiny homes can accommodate two cars. Four-wheel drive is not required to get into Mountain's Ledge but please note there is a steep paved-drive incline on the way in and to get back out of Mountain's Ledge.
UBER and Lyft are available throughout the Chattanooga area, in addition to a number of local taxi services but it is very limited on Signal Mountain. Please note that availability may be extremely limited during peak times.
The city of Chattanooga offers reasonably priced parking on the street and in several public parking lots.
A free electric shuttle bus runs between the Chattanooga Choo Choo and the Tennessee Aquarium with stops at every block. The buses run every 15 minutes, Monday through Friday from 6:30 am to 10 pm, Saturday from 9:30 am to 11 pm, and Sunday from 9:30 am to 8:30 pm. Bus schedules may vary, please consult the Chattanooga Area Regional Transit Authority website for the most up to date schedules.
