4 Bedroom Cabin with Air Conditioner, Bedding and Laundry
If you're looking for a home away from home minus the stress, hustle, and technology, welcome to BroomeRidge Cabin! With three bedrooms for the grown-ups (two kings, one queen) a cave bunk room for the kids (six bunks) and a fun theater room with over 100 DVD's including many classics, family favorites, etc this is the perfect place to turn off the internet and spend time making memories with our family and friends.
Sheets are provided for all beds except the bunk room (you'll need to bring your own single/twin sheet for each bunk used). There is NO WIFI AVAILABLE at this home, so plan to use your cell phone as a hot spot, or better yet, turn off the technology and talk, play games, enjoy the outdoors, and just listen to the sounds of nature at this wonderful escape that's only minutes from town but a world away.
There is garage parking if the weather is inclement (one vehicle only) and additional space for three vehicles in front of the home. Two levels of decking on the back offer lovely views of the mountains, and nighttime star gazing from the upper level deck is breathtaking from the zero gravity chairs you'll find in the garage. (Just return them to storage there if it rains, please!)
A hike/walk up past past the church next door is always beautiful no matter the season, and a stroll downhill leads to a local pottery studio where you will find the wares of some super talented local artists!
The fireplace on the lower level quickly heats up the great room if needed, currently there is no A/C on the lower level but it is cool and comfortable most of the year. The upper/main level is heated and cooled.
Dogs less than 50 pounds that are house trained are allowed IF they will not be left alone inside the home. We have a large kennel in the garage for times you might need to leave your furry friend behind during your stay. This is a "no exceptions" rule that we ask our guests with pets to observe. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate cats due to allergies.
