1 Bedroom House with Bedding, Internet and Kitchen
Hello fellow travelers! Our lakeside cottage with a private outdoor hot tub is nestled on roughly 4 acres of mostly wooded property on Black Lake in Olympia and it's the perfect spot to unwind. While you're here please enjoy the water side fire pit, go for a swim, relax in the hot tub or just hang out on the dock or waterside. We have kayaks, stand-up Paddle boards, canoes and a bunch of indoor and outdoor games all waiting for you. It's ideal for 2 or 3, but can house 4 if you don't mind sharing beds.
We give our guests space but we're available when needed. Just depends on the day. I'm usually around and always reachable by phone or text. Please do know that the cottage rests on about 4 acres of my family’s property where I live with my two teenage boys. So you're likely to see us around. The cottage, the hot tub and the area in front of the cottage is all yours to enjoy without us disturbing you, however please know that my family will occasionally access the dock and the lake.
We have two very friendly dogs, Smokey and Ladybug. They love people, but they don't get along well with other animals. So, unfortunately we do not allow pets or service animals. Please do not attempt to bend the rules and bring a pet of any kind as you will be asked to leave the property.
Our goal is to maintain a fun, happy and safe environment here at the Lakeside Cottage! In the past we've had guests allow their children to play by the lake unsupervised. As a result of this a child nearly drowned. So now we require every individual guest, whether they are staying overnight or just visiting you during the day, to sign a release liability waiver within 24 hours of arrival. The purpose of the waiver is to inform guests of the risks of playing by a lake, water sports etc. and to protect my family from liability. If waiver's go unsigned your reservation will be canceled.
