Positive: We loved our stay at The Palms Apartments! We were in Adelaide as one of our little dogs needed surgery at the SASH Vet Hospital in Kent Town. This accommodation is pet friendly and only a 3 minute walk to SASH! You pay an extra pet cleaning fee depending on the length of your stay; but, it was a VERY reasonable amount! We brought along pee pads for our dogs as they are well trained in using them. It didn't feel like a hassle to take them out for a walk around the neighbourhood to do their business and there's a bin with a poo bag dispenser around the corner on College Road. The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of room in our apartment. The shower is a step in bath/shower so I do wish there was a rail fitted to make it easier to get in and out; though it didn't feel slippery at all. Our room was clean and quiet. It was fitted with a microwave, dishwasher, oven and stove top. It also has a washing machine with dryers down in the garage to use. It's an easy walk to the park lands to walk the dogs and the city is so close! Lots of wonderful cafes nearby (Henry's has great coffee and 78 on Rundle has the best breakfast!) and parking is available onsite for a nightly fee. The staff were just lovely. Every person we spoke to was friendly, helpful and professional. If you are travelling with pets and want to be close to the city, this is the place to stay!!
Negative: Would have loved if the step in bath/shower would have had a hand rail to make you feel more secure getting out.
Summary: Brilliant! I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again; especially with our two little dogs!
