About this space
Welcome to the Onyx house. Enjoy the whole basement with seperate entrance to the house and private entrance to the apartment, full kitchen, spacious living room and beautiful illuminated stone art. 2 min drive to UNC/Downtown, easy access to UC Health/34/I 25 and countless great restaurants.
Space has just been remodeled with brand new kitchen/cabinets/appliances/carpet and remodeled bathroom.
The space
The Onyx house offers a cozy getaway close to everything Greeley has to love. The main entrance is minimally shared, but you will have your own private entrance to the apartment , equipped with a full kitchen, bath/shower, two bedrooms and a spacious living room/dining room. There is a shared laundry room located right outside of the apartment.
Bedroom 1: Queen bed. Bedroom 2: Full bed. Pull out sleeper couch and blow up mattress. We have foam pads upon request if the couch is to be slept on.
Cozy up next to the electric fireplace and enjoy your favorite show on the 55" smart tv with a variety of streaming services. Feel right at home cooking a delicious meal in the fully equipped kitchen with cooking utensils, stoneware/flatware. Wake up and make yourself coffee/tea with a stocked Kureg and Tea station. A keypad door allows for easy access. The hosts live on the level above should you need anything at all. We are here to make your stay as wonderful as possible so do not hesitate to reach out with any requests.
Guest access
The apartment is accessed through the south gate, through the backyard to the back of the house. the main entrance is minimally shared, but the lower level apartment is yours with private entrance.
*please be advised that the walkway is sandstone and may have loose gravel, rocks, snow or other potential tripping hazards so please watch your step. It is difficult for rolling luggage . Additionally, the steps to the basement apartment are carpeted, but steep. people with knee injuries or other mobility issues may find them very difficult.*
Guests have 1 parking spot in the front dirt driveway and free street parking is available for additional vehicles.
We have security cameras and ask that keep the gate closed and the door to the entrance locked at all times. this also ensures that our dogs can't get out.
We have 2 friendly dogs that use the backyard, but we will always message you when we let them out and please message us if you need access to the backyard during those times and we will bring them back inside. When we have guests, we typically only let the dogs out 4 times per day for 10min increments.
Other things to note
We offer longer stays at a discounted price for 1-3 months. Since it is an apartment, you will hear some noises from upstairs. We do our best to keep them to a minimum, but you will lightly hear the sound of our 2 dogs walking on the hardwood floor.
Also, since sound travels, we ask that between 1030pm and 7am, our guests use headphones for any devices, or keep the volume of the television very low.
